Advanced Pediatrics PC has been serving the local Queens community for over 17 years.

Dr. Gonzalo Sabogal

About Dr. Gonzalo Sabogal, M.D., F.A.A.P.​​​​​​​

Dr. Sabogal, specializes in pediatrics. He graduated from University Libre Faculty of Medicine- Cali, Colombia in 1988.

He completed his residency from Flushing Hospital Med Center.

Dr. Sabogal speaks English and Spanish fluently and is a voluntary attending at NY Presbyterian of Queens.

Dr. Sabogal was with The Pediatric Asthma Center since 1998 until 2016. He assisted the director in running the protocol driven disease management based center program.

Wilfredo Lao, M.D., F.A.AP.

About Wilfredo Lao, M.D., F.A.AP.

Dr. Wilfredo Lao obtained his Medical School diploma at the University of Saint Tomas in Manila, Philippines. He completed his pediatric residency at Flushing Hospital Medical Center. He is Board certified in pediatrics since 1997.

Dr. Lao has been with the Pediatric Asthma Center since 1999. He is involved in treating and education of our asthma center patients. He also helps in organizing community health fairs and workshops for asthmatics.

Dr. Brian Montevirgen, M.D., F.A.A.P.​​​​​​​

About Brian Montevirgen, M.D., F.A.A.P.​​​​​​​

Dr. Montevirgen is a physician who specializes in Pediatrics. He was born in the Philippines and raised in Queens, New York. He completed his undergraduate studies at SUNY Stony Brook University before receiving his medical degree from St. George's University in 2016.

He completed his Pediatrics residency in New York City, where he trained at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, Kings County Hospital, Coney Island Hospital, and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He became board-certified in 2019.
